CME将推出新的e-mini ESG指数期货

CME to offer new e-mini ESG index future

CME Group is to expand its suite of e-mini futures tied to ESG indices with the planned launch next month of a contract based on the S&P Europe 350 ESG Index.The new E-mini S&P Europe 350 ESG Index future,which will be cash-settled in euros,is due to made available for trading on May 24.CME said the new contract responds to demand for products linked to sustainability,and will allow market participants to gain exposure to a European index based on a robust ESG methodology."The ecosystem of financial products linked to our ESG indices is growing and diversifying as more investors incorporate sustainability targets in their strategies,"said Reid Steadman,global head of ESG at the index firm.

ICE plans wireless data roll-out in Europe

Intercontinental Exchange plans to expand its wireless data service to capture cash and derivatives packages from venues in London and Frankfurt including Eurex and the London Stock Exchange Group.The Atlanta-based group’s ultra-low latency wireless service provided by ICE Global Network (IGN) will be rolled out to platforms in London and Frankfurt, with go-live set for the second half of 2021, ICE said in a statement on last Tuesday.Venues in London that are covered by the service are ICE Futures, Euronext, Cboe Europe and the London Stock Exchange Group. In Frankfurt, the offering will capture data from Eurex and Xetra, Deutsche Boerse’s derivatives and equities trading platforms.

Euronext closes Borsa Italiana deal for €4.4 billion

Euronext has completed the acquisition of Borsa Italiana Group from the London Stock Exchange Group in a €4.4 billion (£3.2bn) deal that takes the group’s revenue over the €1 billion threshold.Of this total revenue amount,49% was non-volume related revenue and 26% is generated in post-trade operations.Euronext said it brings significant capabilities in fixed income trading and enhanced post-trade activities,including a multi-asset clearing house and a significant central securities depository (CSD).“The Borsa Italiana acquisition is transformational to Euronext,”Euronext's chief executive Stéphane Boujnahsaid,“because it significantly increases the scale of the group,and also diversifies the business profile of the group in terms of revenue mix and also in terms of geography."
